Breaks for Carers

In addition to the groups and breaks for carers provided by Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust (see these in the Newssheet here) The below organisations are commissioned by Cheshire West and Chester to provide breaks for carers. ChAPS

ChAPS supports individuals with autism and empowers parents and carers of children and young people with autism.

Cheshire Young Carers

Cheshire Young Carers support young carers across Cheshire in three key areas, school holiday respite programmes, individual & group support where necessary plus working with schools/colleges to provide specialised support where required.

Wilderness Tribe

Everyman Tribe is our free-to-attend 8-week programme aimed at supporting unpaid male carers with their mental health and supporting them with some much needed respite.

Neuromuscular Centre

The Centre of Excellence for People and Families Affected by a Neuromuscular Condition.

Hospice of the Good Shepherd

Our Living Well Service recognises the need to support carers through difficult times when they are supporting someone receiving hospice care.

Neuro Therapy Centre

The Neuro Therapy Centre recognises the hard work that unpaid Carers put in, and the challenges you face every day.
