Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our Carers Rights Day events across Cheshire West. It was great to see so many carers in Chester and Northwich to help raise awareness of Carers rights and the support available in our area. Special thanks to Rod Brookfield, a carer who has been supported by our services and has written poetry about his experiences as a carer. Rod recited three of his poems, which really demonstrated the emotions experienced by carers.

Last week our AGM was held at Plumley Village Hall. Many thanks to the carers, staff, and trustees who attended. Two new Trustees were appointed during the meeting, we are pleased to welcome John and Helen to the board. Thanks also to Andrew Cooper MP who spoke about the value of carers and t he Government's commitment to carers. Mr Cooper then answered questions from attendees about carer services in our area.
