Better Together is building a community to share information, advice and support to empower unpaid carers and adults to identify and achieve personal outcomes. We aim to achieve this through identification of strengths and to build the independence, resilience and supportive networks of the people who access our services.

At Better Together, we provide dedicated support to carers and adults at every step of their journey. A community built on care, where carers and adults can find information, friendship and a sense of belonging. We offer support, a listening ear, shared moments and space to breathe; A place of understanding, friendship, and hope—because together is always better.

Better Together is made up of three organisations. Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust are the lead provider of the service, they have a wealth of knowledge and experience supporting carers and providing a schedule of events, training and breaks.

Let's Talk logo.png

Let’s Talk is a Cheshire West and Chester Council service that we are working alongside to help carers and local residents access advice and information about services in our area. Our Community Navigators attend the majority of Let’s Talk sessions to provide specialist carer support and help with signposting to other organisations.

Snow Angels Logo.avif

Snow Angels is a Community Interest Company which supports older people to continue to live independently and keep well. As part of Better Together, Snow Angels provide a  hospital discharge support service for patients leaving hospital soon to arrange for appropriate support on returning home. Support can also be offered up to 6 weeks post-discharge.

OPAL provide accessible, enjoyable and enabling activities for older people in rural West Cheshire, in order to reduce isolation and loneliness. They do this by providing day clubs, activity opportunities, hobby & interest groups, companionship, telephone befriending and social events.
