Poetry at Northwich Literary Festival

On Tuesday 15th July Rod, a carer from Chester, and David, our Chief Officer attended the Northwich LitFest Poetry Evening where Rod recited two of his poems about being a carer.

‘Piece of String’, and ‘Stride out Dad’ were emotive representations of the caring role and were highly rated by the audience. Rod presented really well and hopes to be able to share his poetry with groups of carers in the coming months.
